Joni De Lorenzo was born and raised in Hasbrouck Heights, where she resides today. She is a graduate of Lincoln School, Franklin School and Hasbrouck Heights High School.
Ms. De Lorenzo loved the tight-knit sense of community and wanted to give her children the same positive experience she had growing up in Hasbrouck Heights.
She believes that her role as a member of the governing body is to put the public good, the needs and the interests of Hasbrouck Heights residents above all else and to work hard to ensure that the Borough continues to be a great place to live, work and play for generations to come.
Ms. De Lorenzo currently serves as President of the Hasbrouck Heights Republican Club and serves on the Bergen County Republican County Committee. She served as President and Executive Board of Parents for Athletes 2014-2017, President, Executive Board Member and Cheering Coach for the Hasbrouck Heights Jr. Football League 1993-2016. Member of the Hasbrouck Heights PTSA, Project Graduation for the Class of 2017 and the Class of 2020. She is a Legal Secretary at Grandview Title Agency in Hasbrouck Heights where she has worked for 15 years
Ms. De Lorenzo is the proud mother of three children who all attended Hasbrouck Heights Schools.
I am a lifelong resident of Hasbrouck Heights. I am a product of the Hasbrouck Heights school system and attended William Paterson University and obtained a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Education. I taught in the Hasbrouck Height School District for 29 years and retired in 2018 to broaden my career as an advocate. I am married to Pete for 34 years and we have one daughter, Alexa. I joined the Republican Club in 2014 and have served as the Financial Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and am currently holding the position of the 1st Vice President. I am also a Board of Education Trustee, serving this year as Vice President and have been a Library Board Trustee since 2015.
Born and raised on Long Island, my wife, Lizz and I moved to Hasbrouck Heights in 1994 and became active members of the community. Recognizing what a friendly and close-knit town Heights is, we decided to put down roots and raise our 2 daughters, Stephanie and Jacqueline, who are both graduates of Hasbrouck Heights High School. I worked in Manhattan for 37 years as a carpenter foreman and Superintendent. After retiring, I started Nuzzo Carpentry, LLC. Taking an active role in the community, I became assistant coach of HH Junior Football for 8 years winning 3 superbowls. In 2008, I joined the HH Republican Club serving on the Executive Board since 2010. I was president for five years and am currently 2nd Vice President. I’ve also chaired the Scholarship Committee and am the current chair of the Bergen County Republican Organization -County Committee. I have been on the Planning Board since 2013. I am a parishioner of Corpus Christi church, a member of the Parish Council and an usher. Also, current Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council 7041 of Hasbrouck Heights.
Vincent A Risalvato III was born and raised in Hasbrouck Heights NJ, where he has resided with his family his entire life. Vincent is a graduate of Don Bosco High School.
Mr. Risalvato choose to buy a home and start his family in the Borough because of the town’s tight-knit sense of community and wanted to give his children the same positive experience he had growing up in Hasbrouck Heights.
He believes that his role as a member of the Republican Club Executive Board is a good way to help the Borough Succeed and to ensure that the Borough continues to be a great place to live, work and play for generations to come.
Mr. Risalvato currently serves as The Treasure of the Hasbrouck Heights Republican Club and is also a Bergen County Committee member. Mr. Risalvato is a proud Father of two children.
I was born and raised in Hasbrouck Heights and have lived here for 52 years. I was educated in the Hasbrouck Heights public schools, from Lincoln to Franklin to the Hasbrouck Heights High School. I have also been a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church my entire life.
I graduated in 1987 from the high school and attended Bergen Community College in Paramus. I worked for Pathmark for 21 years in the corporate office as their Perishable Pricing Coordinator for six departments.
I left Pathmark in 2007 to stay home and raise my family here in Hasbrouck Heights. I have been married to my husband Nick for the past 20 years. We have 2 boys age 17 and 24. Peter is currently a senior in HH high school and CJ (who we adopted in 2011 at age 13) is now 24. Nick and I worked with and supported kids thru DYFS from 2007-2016
I have been involved in many organizations/board members thru out my years in Hasbrouck Heights. These organizations consist of all HH PTA’s 2006-2021, Board of Ed member for 3 years 2009-2012, HH Swim Club board member for 7 years 2012-2018, Parents for Athletes (PFA) 4 years 2 years on board 2017-2021, Republican Club Executive Board holding the positions of 2nd VP and Corresponding Secretary 2014- Present and 2021 Project Graduation Committee Chair.
I always want to give back to the Hasbrouck Heights community. And being part of the Republican Club, I know I can keep Hasbrouck Heights a great place to live and raise a family. I can take all my experiences and knowledge from all the committees and boards that I have been on and currently on to make Hasbrouck Heights the BEST place for current and future residents to call their home. A home should not just be a building or a place where one lives, but in a broader sense a warm and friendly haven where people can feel they belong. That’s how I feel about Hasbrouck Heights and will work on helping others to feel that way too.
