I am proud to call Hasbrouck Heights my home! I
moved to Hasbrouck Heights with my late husband,
Nicholas, and our son, Lee, in 1995. After many
months of searching for a home to raise our two year
old son, we happily settled in Hasbrouck
Heights. It was here that Nick and I found the
values, the atmosphere and the educational system
that we felt were crucial in raising a family.
In those 26 years of living in this fine community, I
have been active in many school, church and civic
organizations. While Lee attended the public
schools, I was a member of the Euclid School PTA,
the Hasbrouck Heights Middle School High School
PTSA and the Music Parents’ Association. In
addition, I was elected to the Board of Education
and served from 2006-2012, where I acted as
President from 2011-2012, Vice President from
2009-2010, Technology Chair, Education Chair,
Community Relations Committee (Key
Communicators), Policy Committee, Special
Education Committee, Representative to the BCSBA
and Board Liaison to the Middle School (PTA
Liaison). I also was the Liaison to the Mayor and
Council from 2006-2007.
I am a parishioner of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic
Church. It is here that I volunteer as a Collection
Counter. I am a member of the Rosary Society and
have been a lector for the parish in the past as well.
In addition, I volunteered for Meals with a Mission,
preparing food for those less fortunate.
During my years as a resident of Hasbrouck
Heights, I have been a co-chair for Relay for Life. I
was also elected as a member of the County
Committee.The Hasbrouck Heights Contemporary
Club is another fine organization that I am a

My educational background includes a Bachelor of

Keeping Hasbrouck Heights a safe and welcoming
community is a goal that I continue to have. I hope
to continue to improve upon the many services the
residents of our town enjoy and expect.
It has been a wonderful journey for me living in
Hasbrouck Heights. My son, Lee, now 27, and I have
witnessed personally the generosity, kindness and
thoughtfulness of the residents of this great
community, especially after the sudden death of my
husband, Nick in 2001. It is an honor and a privilege
to serve this community as your Councilwoman.
